How To Choose Wetsuit Gloves
In order to keep your water activities going year round, you will need some cold water accessories to protect you from the elements. Wetsuit gloves are a great way to stay warm in the winter months so you can keep on enjoying the water.
What type of glove thickness do you need?
Base that off the water temperature and air temperature that you will be using the gloves in. For mildly cold conditions, a 3mm glove can work, for colder temps, check out a 5mm glove.
Some have added grip and others don't, why is that?
Depending on what you are doing, you may or may not need the extra grip. If you are stand up paddle boarding or kite surfing, you may want that extra grip. For surfing, it's not necessary.
How are the gloves supposed to fit?
Tight. And we will warn you that a thicker glove is not super comfortable to wear but it will protect you from the frigid water temps which is what you want. The glove should not cut off your circulation but they should be very snug.
