What Snowboard Accessories Do I Need?
Getting into snowboarding and not sure what kind of snow accessories you need? We've got you covered. Here is a quick list about what type of snow accessories you might need in your gear bag.
Did you just buy your first board?
If so, you will definitely need a stomp pad and a leash. Some resorts still require a leash, so it's not a bad idea to have one in your pocket just in case. Stomp pads will help you to not wipe out when you are getting off the lift so if you are still learning, a stomp pad is a must.
Are you looking to do at-home tuning?
Grab tuning vices, wax, a wax iron, scraper and edging tool. For on-the-go tunes, choose a rub on wax. Be sure to pay attention to temperature-specific wax!
Are you heading on a trip?
A board lock is a great thing to have because you can never be too careful! We also recommend a travel size tool. You never know when you will need to make quick adjustments.
Want to class-up your home or apartment?
Treat yourself to some board wall mounts. These offer fool-proof ways to safely hang your snowboards. If you are hanging a classic board, check out the Burton Collector Series wall mounts. If it's a board you are still using regularly, the classic Burton Wall Mounts are easier to get the board on and off the wall.
